Birdy folding bike for his faithful traveling companion CD …

Launched in 1995 by award-winning German design firm Riese and Müller, the Birdy bikes are lauded in the international market due to its innovative design and performance. The revolutionary dual suspension design of a Birdy folding bike introduced softness to every trip that is otherwise characteristic of the face full-size bikes only.

The first fully suspended folding bicycles, the Birdie bikes make use of a single piece of solid aluminum frames, but lightweight. The suspension pivots care for the folding mechanism in the absence of the hinge of the computer central. This intelligent design along with the use of 18 "wheels the bikes very stable and sporty.

The Birdy bicycles fold in less than 30 seconds without the use of tools. With the size of a Birdy folding bike being about 30 "x 23" x 11 ", is fairly easy to store in small places and carrier bags. The lightweight frames (mostly around 24 pounds) make the Birdy bikes very portable.

Options for changes the development and design firm dual suspension folding bikes Birdy render them suitable to be used for many purposes other than transportation. Use them for walking for recreation and tourism, as well as for sports.

What kind of switch I can fit in? ?

I'm updating the gear / unit in 2007 my Kona Fire Mountain with a Shimano XT M770 rear derailleur, shifters M770 XT cassette and chain, dual controls, etc, but I'm not sure what type of front M770 derailluer to buy, it seems that there are a couple of different types, which are the 'E Type BB Mount "and" swing best "models, what does it matter which one of these go out? Cheers.

Front derailleurs can be tricky because you have to choose the diameter of the right bracket, type the swing, and pull the cable. Fortunately, the bike will have several different front derailleurs ..... and fortunately, many derailleurs are made with built-in adaptability. His bike was off the top of the cable that goes to the switch, so make sure you get one that uses high traction. Most of them today have multi-clamp designs that will make bottom-up or pull .... just make sure yours will top (most do, but there are still some dedicated-pull models out there.) As for swing, you can use one on your bike. Some frames / suspension designs require use of bottom-swing so that you do not have compatibility problems with links or tubes, but it is your plain jane single design framework, so that you can choose any of them. type-E derailleurs are not common ... is mainly used in special frame design suspension bikes altogether. You could Use one on your bike if you wanted, but you would have to be sure that the bottom bracket was compatible to a type of mail, too. clamp size is another issue .... when the switch is mounted on the frame. Most of them are now in size to the largest diameter and come with reducer bushings for use in smaller tubes. If the switch does not come with them, you can buy a couple of dollars at a store (or get them free sometimes). If you buy a clamp size single model, make sure it's best for your picture. It is easier to see how these changes are different speeds if you have a few of each one on hand to watch and manipulate sounds .... complex and confusing, but it is not true. Hope this helps some .... enjoy the new transmission. : O)
