Building a gaming PC?
ok so I decided to build a gaming PC for around 950 pounds (pound sign does not work lol) and I was wondering if anyone else could do any tips.Like time having air or water cooling and if u think i should change specifications or u know where u can get cheaper somebody thinks they really like and yes this is my first build. so this is what I am: Antec 1200 cases 129.99 lbs 170.00 lbs EVGA 780i SLI EVGA GTX 260 216 Core Intel 359.97 pounds Core 2 Quad (Q8300) Processor 2.5GHz 4096KB 1333MHz FSB (Boxed) £ 172.22 CORSAIR 4GB XMS2-8500 2X240 5-5-5-15 RAM dominator DHX 68.21 pounds 640GB Western Digital Caviar Blue SATAII 16MB Cache 3.5 inch OEM 55.01 pounds and I havent decided yet by the power or voltage so if you have any idears on it, let me know. thanks for the help. yeh I feel like I made a mistake type the GTX 260 is 259.99 pounds and I havnt decided on an optical drive so if u know or can recommend a good one plz do.
Ummm I listed it wrong, because there must be a way GTX 260 216 core is 359.97 pounds If you plan on SLI maybe around a source of 850 watts power. Q8300 processor is not large, especially in my opinion, I'd probably look for a Q9400. Its also missing an optical drive.
