Hiking Safety – How safe hiking trails and intelligent
Okay, so you have decided that you go for a walk. You have chosen the path, packed train, drove to the trailhead and now you have no idea what you are doing. Fear not! Therefore, this article is here ..
The first thing you have to do is identify the distance you plan to hike. If you go a kilometer or 10? Are you going to be out until the evening of the past? When close the park? What to bring with you? Well, it depends on how long and how hard it is to hike. I usually bring a package of light with a pint of a mixture of electrolyte, an energy bar low in fiber, an ultralite kit, lighter, cell phone, extra battery, bear spray, a digital camera and aspirin. You may want to take more or less depending.
How do you dress? This really depends on how long you have. Where am I based on the coast of British Columbia, the weather can change dramatically very quickly. I always wear walking shoes, breathable lightweight pants that convert into shorts, a shirt and a jacket. Because I can exercise heat quickly, I just remove the jacket if it gets pretty cold.
Now that you have your ducks in a row, you need to know what to do once that is on the way .. Not all paths are equal. Some paths have clearly defined paths with logs or railroad ties imagination lead the way. Some roads raised on wooden planks. Some paths are mulched.
