Hair Straightening Question.?
I am Asian and Black, and I’m trying to experiment with different hairstyles. My hair is frizzy, and curly, but the curls are not nearly as tight as fully african american hair, thus allowing me to flat iron it. Problem is, when I straighten it, it winds up looking very dried out, and it doest flow around naturally and rather just stays in the same place. Plus, when I try to style it with gel, it winds up curling back up again. I thought it was the water in the gel that was making it do this, but after using hair wax to style my hair with the same effect, I gave up.
Is there a way for me to straighten my hair and ave it look silky and as natural as it can , and not frizz up again when I try to style it, without having serious frizz action?
I would really like some genuine serious helpful advice.

There could be a few reasons your hair keeps going back to normal. It could be that your hair is more like african american hair and would have to be chemically straightened (not recommended, very damaging). Or it could be that your flat iron isn’t as good as it could be. Try to find one that heats up to at least 410F and has tourmaline technology. Sounds like you hair lacks moisture to me. Check in with a salon, they sell excellent shampoos to restore your hair of the moisture it’s been striped of. They also sell excellent sirums used to combat friziness with straightening your hair.
