How to Choose the Hid Conversion Kits

I think most people would spend money to upgrade your car headlight. And conversion HID Kits is the best choice, somehow there are many different teams, like single beam kit, hi / lo beams kit on the market. This article will tell the differences in each kit, color temperature, and more.

Four Common HID Kits

1. Single Beam Kit, comes with 2 pairs of bulbs HID, 2 ballasts.

4. Bi-xenon Kit: 2 HID bulbs on each bulb, which works and low beam, with 4 ballasts and clamps installation. Common sizes are the bulb H4-4, 9004-4, 9007-4.

Most HID Conversion Kits are 35W/12V market, you need 24V for a truck. Some teams are using 55W hid, so the buyer has to read the specifications carefully.

Temperature Color:

HID Color temperature refers to the degrees (K), which simply measures the output of color to lighting, such as yellow gold, white, blue white crystalline …

Grade (K) refers only to color, while light refers to light intensity. So the higher is the color temperature (degrees K) does not mean a higher light intensity (lumen). Here is the summary of the common color temperature on the market –

3000K (golden yellow), 4300K (bright white), 5000K (white), 6000K (Crystal White), 8000K (Crystal Blue), 10000K (Aqua Blue), 12000K (blue-purple).

5000K or 6000K are the most popular color temperature, and if you are planning to buy 10000k hid kits or more, please be careful about legal issue in your country. Most or 14000K 12000K (purple) are using off road only.

Warranty:

You can get HID kits on eBay or other auction sites at a cheap price, but warranty issues would always be a big problem. So buy from a reliable shop or online store would be the best choice because you'll have a better control of warranty issues.
