Why is my clutch so weak even though jus changed?

I have a 96 honda civic ex coupe, and I just changed my clutch clutch b'cuz old mother was literally burned to the metal component. It I switched to a stage 1 clutch made by full XTR with a pressure plate. my question is why my new clutch feel almost the same as my old one still burning cogens when I changed? does have power. when I released the clutch, while my car is accelerated to about 3500 rpm the car does'nt shooting. the only difference is that my car can peel now. and also that my clutch pedal is now very light and soft compared to my old man, who pushed against my foot when I pressed him. is like stepping on one of those small blue rubber ball as apposed to step butter (yes that much of the difference!). if anyone can help me it would b much appreciated. thanks for your time ps I have about 5-7 miles on my new clutch. so I hope that your cogens I have to force entry

If you are playing in the clutch again as soon then installed as its very possible that you have glass, which unfortunately die hard, however, if you're still hard at it, its only gonna get worse. It also has to clean the pressure plate with anything, as brake cleaner before installation? If not, then you probably still have traces of oil in it from manufacturing, which is left to prevent oxidation before sale. It is also important to allow time for filming. I found the same item in a 90 Firebird, including a clutch expensive. Its only one where you can not beat it for a while. It took nearly two months before I really started clutch grabbing. One thing that helps is I gently scrape the pressure plate with sandpaper fine grain before installing it. That helps the clutch to get seated faster and improves grip in the meantime. I have used this technique and good works. Its normal for a clutch to feel a little softer due to the new parties to bridge the gap have to move to release the clutch. But this depends on the type clutch system you have. I am not an import guy so I do not know, but with the difference of the systems water from old to new pedal feel is very minimal.
