Pool Shock Treatments. One that should not be used!

We recommend shocking the pool at least once every seven to ten days. Must be caught with more often after periods of rain or high temperatures and when there has been a lot of use by bathers.
Pool shock treatments oxidize or burn-contaiminants that accumulate in the pool water through time.

What kind of shock treatment should be used? There are five types of strokes or oxidizing agents used for chlorinated pools and spas. The type of shock the pool you choose to use is determined by how you choose to apply it in the water, so how bad his case to finish indoor pool, such as concrete, fiberglass, vinyl siding,

Monopersulfate potassium (treatments using oxygen) are chlorine-free oxidants. Oxygen treatment of shock is very good for removing contaminants in excess, and restoring the combat power of chlorine disinfectants. Download Oxygen is also commonly called "security shock" the pool because swimmers can safely return to the water about 15 minutes after treatment. No side effects in pool water.

Sodium Di-chloro [Di chlorine] is a stabilized granular chlorine is 100% soluble. Di-chloro can be used in all finishes of the pool unharmed. Do not alter the pH balance of water, foam or require pre-dissolving. For Di-chloro chlorine, stabilizer (acid Cyanuric) which will cause the stabilizer to the accumulation of a level without insurance. The pool will then have to be drained and refilled with fresh water when this occurs.

Lithium shock has the same properties as Di-production of chlorine with one exception, has not stabilized and therefore does not cause a high level of cyanuric acid.

Sodium hypochlorite is a liquid and a high concentration of chlorine. It is fast acting after adding water. Has approximately 90 days of life useful.

Calcium hypochlorite [Cal-Hypo] is the most common and the strongest form of shock treatment with chlorine. It is available in concentrations of 47% 65%, 68%, 73% or 78% available chlorine. This type can be used in all the finishes of the pool, but must be pre-dissolved before adding the water or can be bleached the color of vinyl siding group. It contains calcium, which can cause temporary foaming or cloudiness. Cal-Hypo 47% available chlorine is a low quality shock that mainly sold in many mass merchant stores. This product in our opinion should not be able to be labeled as a "clash of the pool." We consider the recommended dose is too weak to achieve real chlorine discharge level of 5 to 10 ppm in water. It will take more of this product to achieve the result desired. These combination products using special combinations of the formula and sold under different trade names. They all contain some chlorine mixed with other products chemicals such as clarifiers. The sale of this product is not limited to merchants who sell only the mass.

The chemical manufacturers and suppliers to adopt This product mixed with such force that some have decided to completely stop the strongest forms. His argument has merit. This is a kind of insurance oxidant thereby increasing safety management, which in turn requires less government regulation, and increases their profits, helping to reduce the multiple facets of the overload manufacturers and transportation costs. That's all well and good, but pound for pound, the consumer will pay more to achieve the same result. We discourage the use of this type of product, not because it is a bad product, but only very difficult to effectively treat your pool. In many cases, it costs the same or more than an undiluted chlorine treatment! You have the option to spend money more wisely.
