Dropping the Shimano 105-clip shoes?
I recently purchased the Shimano pedals 105 (triangular shape) as my local bike shop strongly recommended. Are granted respective bits my cycling shoes. We also recommend me touch my feet diagonally across release. I found it very difficult to follow these instructions. And in all honesty I was about to fall but luckily found a fence for support. I called the bike shop and was advised that I have to try to loosen the set in the bit of rubber on the pedal, to the - sign anti-clockwise (). I tried, but still very difficult to disengage. Does anyone know a trick, as the tilt-foot shaking or heel or anything like that to help me release it safely? TA thanks a million
I have mine Shimano SPD-SL (are Ultegra, but the work just Like the 105) pedals and cleats. It seems second nature to turn on and off. You seem to know how to participate, so all you need to know is to twist the foot to abroad for free. Heel kick out. It's more a twisted spin than anything else on the diagonal. With the bike in a foot and shoe in his hands, making the shoe the pedal. Then pull the heel of the shoe to the outside and see how they work. It will be easier once the shoe is on the foot. Clean a little silicone in the black plastic clip and be good to go.
