I can not really answer your question first, because it is difficult to explain how to apply makeup well. With brushes and the right techniques, it is only good. You can always go to Nordstrom and one of the makeup counters and ask for help on how to apply makeup. I especially suggest you go to MAC, because they have the best color selections and helpful.
