I need information on brakes for my new bike. can anyone help?
my bike has tektro brakes. it also has skyway wheels. the tektro Brake Pads don’t fit. the skyway brake pads do work, but they will scrape and ruin my new tuff wheels. they are Skyway Tuff Wheels II. any suggestions? do i need different braking system, or do i have to run the risk of scratching my skyways?
Either get chrome wheels which will work like wonders or ride brakeless (which is what i do). Also riding brakeless gives the bike a clean look. If your gonna use the brakes I guess you should get a chrome rim and not mess up the Skyway rim.
