Would you buy the Robinson Arms XCR in 6.8mm or 7.62mm? Why?

Which caliber do you like better? Take into account availability (in future…7.62 is supposed to dry up, but 6.8 is supported by Remington. No one supports 7.62 in North America), power, accuracy, etc.

Either one is an effective medium game hunting cartridge. The price of 6.8 SPC isn’t coming down anytime soon in my opinion and my friends are still paying 28 dollars for 20 rounds of silver state ammo while I pay 4 dollars for my Golden Tiger 7.62x39mm. Basically it comes down to afford-ability. The 6.8 SPC shows better ballistic performance out past 200 yards but it’s pretty marginal while compared to the 7.62mm. They both have pretty similar stopping power. It comes down to if you want really expensive ammo that performs slightly better that you pretty much always have to get offline or if you want to be able to buy dirt cheap ammo, shoot all day long, and then run to the nearest ammo provider and have a %95 percent chance of finding more.
